Stand-Alone Selective Delipidation Instrument - Lipid Sciences, Inc.

A therapeutic plasma-processing instrument (selective delipidation), intended to reverse atherosclerosis.

• Program Manager

  Managed this two-pronged program intended to build investor interest by envisioning what the final device would look like while constructing engineering prototypes for animal testing and human clinical trials.

• Technical Lead

  Coordinated the development of product renderings that took technical, aesthetic, and usability requirements into consideration, including the integration of the disposable set with the hardware, as well as set-up, run time, and tear-down procedures.
• Designed the engineering prototype, developed CAD databases and a complete drawing package for all sheet metal components, and coordinated engineering prototype components procurement. Assisted the client in assembling the prototype in preparation for testing.
